I've always loved how the character's dad in RSE happens to be a Gym Leader. I took the same concept, except now our protagonist is in Sinnoh. Norman is still located in Hoenn and is doing his thing. Feel free to speculate on why they aren't in the same country. I don't expect Norman to show up all that much in the story, but I will let you know that he isn't just a cameo. You'll have to wait for more info on that one...
